Board member for sport Markus Krösche regards Eintracht Frankfurt as a highly attractive destination as they Bundesliga side search for a new coach.
"I think we are super sexy," Krösche told streaming portal DAZN before the Bundesliga home match against Hoffenheim on Saturday.
"Eintracht Frankfurt - that is an extremely exciting club and, I believe, extremely attractive for every player and every coach."
Frankfurt are seventh in the Bundesliga and were eliminated from the Champions League in midweek.
According to media reports, one of the candidates to replace the sacked Dino Toppmöller is St Pauli coach Alexander Blessin. His side are down the bottom of the Bundesliga but have a solid defence, something Frankfurt have struggled with this term.
"I know him from our time at RB Leipzig, he was the under-19 coach there. I think he is doing an outstanding job at St Pauli," Krösche said as he refused to confirm or deny whether that made Blessin a candidate.
After the 0-0 draw in the city derby against SV Hamburg on Friday, Blessin shut down rumours of a move to Frankfurt.
"Please, please, let's talk about something else, we do not need to talk about that," the 52-year-old told Sky.
Marco Rose is also being touted as a Frankfurt target. Rose has coached Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
The club want to find a "swift solution," Krösche said. "We are now looking to see what the next few days bring."
Dennis Schmitt is in temporary charge.
