Germany's Tatjana Maria continued her dream run at the Queen's Championships and reached her first WTA 500 final on Saturday.

She stunned top favourite and Australian Open champion Madison Keys 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).

In the final on Sunday, she will face either Olympic champion and top seed Zheng Qinwen or American Amanda Anisimova.

"Oh my God! Seriously: I can't believe it. A dream has come true. I couldn't have wished for a better tournament to reach the final. I'm so, so proud," Maria said after her win.

Maria, currently 86th in the women's world rankings, had her the greatest success of her career in 2022, when she reached the semi-finals in Wimbledon.

The Queen's championships is one of tune-up tournaments for Wimbledon, which starts on June 30.
